About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join our thriving department. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate young women to participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities, fostering their physical literacy, teamwork skills, and love of sports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging PE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, incorporating a variety of sports and activities.
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage students to develop their physical skills and fitness with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in physical education.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their physical abilities.
  • Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings.
  • Participate in whole-school events and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community.
  • Coach and mentor students in various sports and extracurricular activities, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified Female PE Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and developing their physical literacy and sporting abilities.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for physical education, with a strong understanding of different sports, fitness activities, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • A willingness to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
