Do you have a passion for textiles and teaching? We are seeking a part-time textiles teacher to join our Birmingham school, starting January 2025. As a part-time textiles teacher, you'll help KS3, KS4, and KS5 students express their creativity through fabric, design, and innovative techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging lessons as a part-time textiles teacher, fostering creativity and design skills in KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
• Guide students in creating their own textile designs as their part-time textiles teacher, helping them build portfolios.
• Assess student progress, offering feedback to support their growth under your role as a part-time textiles teacher.
• Work with the department to innovate the textiles curriculum, bringing fresh ideas as a part-time textiles teacher.
• Stay updated with modern design trends and incorporate them into lessons as a part-time textiles teacher.

We are looking for a part-time textiles teacher with QTS and experience in teaching at the secondary level.
