We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time resistant materials teacher to join our school in Sandwell, starting January 2025. As a part-time resistant materials teacher, you will work with KS3 and KS4 students, teaching them the practical skills to create and innovate with different materials, with the possibility to extend to KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging lessons as a part-time resistant materials teacher, helping students at KS3 and KS4 understand materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Inspire KS5 students by introducing more advanced materials technology and manufacturing processes.
• Assess student progress as a part-time resistant materials teacher, offering constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the resistant materials curriculum, bringing innovative ideas as a part-time resistant materials teacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience as a resistant materials teacher at the secondary level.
• A passion for working with students to develop their technical skills.
