Are you a dedicated teacher with experience in supporting children with special educational needs? Our inclusive primary school in Hackney is looking for a SEN Teacher to join our team and help create a supportive learning environment for KS2 students with a range of SEND.
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher for KS2 students, you will work closely with our students to create tailored, engaging lessons that support their individual learning needs. Your role will be vital in helping students make progress and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for KS2 students with SEN.
- Provide targeted interventions to ensure students achieve their learning goals.
- Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and families.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure each child is supported.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching KS2 students, with knowledge of special educational needs.
- A creative, adaptable, and patient teaching style.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
