Do you have a strong understanding of chemistry and a passion for teaching? We are seeking a part-time Chemistry Teacher to join our school in Sandwell, starting January 2025. As a part-time Chemistry teacher, you will work with KS3 and KS4 students, helping them understand chemical principles, and you will have the opportunity to teach KS5 students, too.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exciting chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering an understanding of key scientific concepts.
• Introduce KS5 students to advanced chemical theories and experiments.
• Assess students’ progress in chemistry and provide feedback to guide their improvement.
• Collaborate with the science department to enhance the chemistry curriculum and introduce innovative teaching methods.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in chemistry and science education.
• Encourage curiosity in students, inspiring them to explore the world of chemistry.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience as a chemistry teacher at the secondary level.
• A passion for inspiring students through chemistry.
