The Role:
We are seeking a Geography Teacher to join our team, starting in January. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator, capable of delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Geography lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine and improve curriculum materials, ensuring lessons are engaging and informative.
- Support and mentor students in their academic and personal development.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events to foster a well-rounded school community.
- Engage in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve your teaching skills.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an individual who is both committed to their students’ academic success and passionate about Geography. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we encourage you to apply.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
- A solid understanding of the Geography curriculum and assessment methods.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related subject (desirable).
