The Role:
- Teach engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Drama for the right candidate.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials that inspire creativity and align with both national standards and the school's educational goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback that fosters growth and creative development.
- Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide tailored support for each student's development.
- Contribute to the wider school community by supporting extracurricular activities, school performances, and drama events.
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the development of the drama department and the school’s overall improvement plan.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related discipline (desirable).
