Are you a passionate and creative teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Our specialist school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to work with young learners in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:

As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and personalized lesson plans to support students with a variety of special educational needs. Your role will involve delivering tailored lessons, monitoring progress, and ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 students with SEND.
• Differentiate lessons to ensure that every student can fully participate and make progress.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure individual needs are met.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals.
• Track and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to maintain engagement and support.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on student development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching KS1 students, with a strong understanding of SEND.
• A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
