Role Overview:

As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will:

  • Teaching and Curriculum:

    • Deliver engaging and high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
    • Develop, adapt, and implement curriculum materials that align with both the school’s objectives and national standards.
  • Student Progress:

    • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and supportive feedback to promote academic growth and achievement.
    • Utilize data from assessments to inform teaching, identify learning gaps, and offer targeted support to meet the needs of all students.
  • Professional Development:

    • Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the continued development of the department and school.
    • Participate in school-wide activities, including extracurricular events, initiatives, and community involvement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related subject (desirable).
  • Experience:

    • Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
    • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly invited to apply.
