Teaching Assistant – Secondary School in Havering

We are a well-established secondary school in Havering looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a diverse, inclusive learning environment, supporting students in their academic journey and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects.
• Provide individual or small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and supported.
• Aid in the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Track student progress and provide valuable feedback to teachers.
• Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring tailored support.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development.
• Previous experience in a secondary school or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to student support.
