Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for guiding your students through Key Stage 2. Your key responsibilities include:

• Teaching the National Curriculum: Deliver high-quality lessons in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects, with a particular focus on fractions, statistics, and geometry in Year 4.
• Encouraging Academic Growth: Help students build independence, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to tackle challenges in Year 4.
• Building Relationships: Foster positive relationships with students and families, keeping parents informed about Year 4 students’ progress.
• Collaborating with Colleagues: Work with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency across the Year 4 curriculum.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Year 4 or similar Key Stage 2 roles.
• A commitment to high standards and a passion for helping children thrive academically and socially.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
