The Role:

• Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression in English.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet school goals and national standards.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage academic growth and achievement.
• Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide tailored support to students.
• Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation, to contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.
• Participate in the wider school community by supporting school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
• A strong understanding of the English national curriculum.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
