We are currently seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team in January. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a school where innovation and excellence in teaching are highly valued. The successful candidate will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire creativity and align with national standards and the school’s curriculum.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage both academic achievement and personal development.
  • Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and support students who require additional guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Design Technology Department to share resources, best practices, and teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school initiatives that promote the development of students' practical and creative skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related field (desirable).
