We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be joining a team that values professional development, innovation, and support for all members of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
  • Design and implement engaging lessons that inspire students and align with national standards and school goals.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage academic growth and personal development.
  • Use data from assessments to inform teaching and provide targeted support for students to overcome any challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography Department by sharing ideas, resources, and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, extracurricular programs, and community initiatives to support the school’s ethos and student engagement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools.
  • Solid knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment methods.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field (desirable).
