We are seeking a passionate Resistant Materials Teacher to join our school in Shropshire, starting in January 2025. As a Resistant Materials Teacher, you will teach KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to take on KS5 classes, guiding them in practical and theoretical skills in materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver interactive Resistant Materials lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, developing practical skills in construction and design.
  • Guide KS5 students in more complex projects, exploring a range of materials and techniques.
  • Assess and track student progress as a Resistant Materials Teacher, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Work with the department to refine and modernise the Resistant Materials curriculum.
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in the materials field to enhance your Resistant Materials Teacher role.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Resistant Materials or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching as a Resistant Materials Teacher at the secondary level.
  • A commitment to hands-on learning and skill development.
