An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Food Tech Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham. Starting in January, this role is ideal for a Food Tech Teacher who is passionate about teaching practical cooking skills across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Food Tech lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, focusing on culinary skills and food preparation.
  • Regularly assess student progress in Food Tech, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Work with colleagues to enrich the Food Tech curriculum and introduce innovative teaching methods.
  • Stay informed about developments in Food Tech education and incorporate fresh ideas into the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Food Tech or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Food Tech at the secondary level.
  • A passion for nurturing students' culinary talents in Food Tech.
