We are searching for a dedicated Food Tech Teacher to join our vibrant school in Shropshire, starting in January 2025. As a Food Tech Teacher, you will inspire KS3 and KS4 students to explore culinary arts and develop essential cooking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead exciting Food Tech lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, sparking their interest in culinary techniques and nutrition.
• Provide detailed feedback to help students grow as cooks in your role as a Food Tech Teacher.
• Collaborate with the department to refresh the Food Tech curriculum with new ideas and modern cooking methods.
• Stay current with food trends to inspire students in your Food Tech Teacher role.
• Encourage students to experiment with flavours and presentation in your lessons as a Food Tech Teacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching as a Food Tech Teacher at the secondary level.
• A passion for teaching students about cooking, nutrition, and creativity in the kitchen.
