In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Guide and inspire: Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, covering a wide range of topics such as human development, health and wellbeing, social care values, and care in different settings.
  • Develop essential skills: Equip students with the knowledge and understanding they need to pursue careers in health and social care, fostering their empathy, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Bring learning to life: Utilize interactive teaching methods, real-world case studies, and guest speakers to make learning relevant and engaging.
  • Champion individual growth: Provide personalized support and guidance to each student, helping them to achieve their full potential and develop their passion for caring professions.
  • Collaborate and contribute: Work as part of a dedicated team to enhance the Health and Social Care curriculum and create a positive and supportive learning environment.

What you offer:

  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field (e.g., Nursing, Social Work, Psychology).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A strong understanding of the KS4 and KS5 Health and Social Care curriculum.
