About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
• Inspire a love for literature and writing, helping students develop essential literacy and communication skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists, to create and implement personalized learning plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your teaching strategies to ensure effective learning.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English, ideally within a specialist or SEN environment.
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively differentiate teaching for a wide range of learning needs.
• Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning experience for all students.
• Has a genuine passion for supporting students’ academic and personal development.
