The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated English Teacher to join our exceptional English department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. This role requires a commitment to high-quality teaching, an innovative approach to lesson planning, and the ability to engage and challenge students at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level, maintaining high academic standards
• Develop and deliver inspiring, engaging lesson plans that are tailored to the needs and abilities of each student
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as school productions, literature clubs, and writing workshops
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the highest standards of teaching and learning in the English department
• Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified teacher with a relevant degree in English or a related field
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
• A genuine passion for English and an ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to teaching
• A proactive and innovative mindset in developing engaging lesson content
