The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.
• Encourage a love for reading and writing, helping students develop vital literacy skills.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists, to design and implement personalized learning plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure students' success.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence, confidence, and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an outstanding teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English, ideally in a specialist or SEN setting.
• Understands how to effectively differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
• Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to providing an inclusive and inspiring learning experience for all students.
• Is passionate about making a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth.
