We are looking for a passionate and skilled Resistant Materials Teacher to join our team in Worcester this January 2025. If you have a flair for teaching practical skills in materials design, this role offers the perfect platform to shape the next generation of designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Resistant Materials to KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop their skills in working with wood, metal, and plastics.
  • Inspire KS5 students with advanced lessons in product design and manufacturing.
  • Regularly assess student progress and offer constructive feedback to help students excel.
  • Collaborate with the Design & Technology department to improve the Resistant Materials curriculum.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate the latest techniques and technologies into your teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Resistant Materials at secondary school level.
