In this exciting role, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons: Teach a range of topics across Key Stages 4 and 5, encompassing psychological theories, social structures, research methods, and contemporary issues in both Psychology and Sociology.
  • Foster critical thinking: Encourage students to analyze information, evaluate different perspectives, and develop their own informed opinions on human behavior and social dynamics.
  • Connect with the real world: Bring both subjects to life through current events, debates, case studies, and real-world applications.
  • Nurture every student: Provide differentiated instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of your learners, ensuring everyone reaches their full potential in both disciplines.
  • Collaborate and grow: Work closely with a supportive team of Humanities or Social Sciences teachers to develop engaging curricula and contribute to a thriving department.

What you offer:

  • A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field with strong knowledge in both disciplines.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A strong understanding of the KS4 and KS5 Psychology and Sociology curricula.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for both subjects and a commitment to student success.
