The Role: Computing Teacher

As a Computing Teacher, you will inspire students through the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons in Computing and IT across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging lessons, covering topics such as programming, algorithms, and digital technology, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Extracurricular Leadership: Lead extracurricular activities, including coding clubs and technology workshops, to enhance students' practical skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Work with the department to evolve and improve the computing curriculum, ensuring it stays relevant and up-to-date with technological advancements.
  • Keeping Up-to-Date: Integrate the latest developments in technology and computing into lessons to keep the curriculum forward-thinking and engaging.
