The Role:
- Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression in English.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials in line with school goals and national standards.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Use assessment data to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and provide tailored support to individual students.
- Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation, to help drive the school's continuous improvement.
- Participate in the wider school community through extracurricular activities, school events, and community initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum.
- A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
