The Role:

• Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression in English.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials in line with school goals and national standards.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and provide tailored support to individual students.
• Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation, to help drive the school's continuous improvement.
• Participate in the wider school community through extracurricular activities, school events, and community initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
