Role Overview:
As an SEN Maths Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their mathematical skills, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of learners with SEND. Your creativity and dedication will empower students to achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated Maths lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students with SEND.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and therapists to provide holistic support.
- Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for Maths learning goals.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as required.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths, preferably in an SEN setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
- A creative, empathetic, and patient approach to teaching.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
