The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our Outstanding school in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be able to deliver engaging Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right individual. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a strong focus on delivering excellent education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, teach, and assess Geography lessons for KS3, KS4, and possibly A-Level students.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailoring teaching to meet individual needs.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Geography curriculum to ensure it remains engaging and meets educational standards.
- Actively support student development through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to maintain high teaching standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Geography department and wider school community to foster a strong team ethos.
Who We Are Looking For:

Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment methods.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field (desirable).
