Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging lessons in Resistant Materials across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their design and practical skills.
  • Specialise in Resistant Materials at KS5, inspiring students to explore various materials and techniques.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Resistant Materials curriculum and share best practices.
  • Stay current with developments in design and technology education and bring new ideas to lessons.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Resistant Materials, Design and Technology, or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
