The successful candidate will be a Geography specialist, capable of teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic school environment.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while fostering student engagement and academic achievement.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth, achievement, and understanding.
• Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and support individual student needs.
• Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the school’s improvement plan through self-evaluation and professional growth.
• Engage with the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of Geography content and pedagogy.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
