An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving Ofsted ‘Good’ school in Windsor, starting in January. The successful candidate will be a Geography specialist, capable of teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic school environment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while fostering student engagement and academic achievement.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth, achievement, and understanding.
- Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and support individual student needs.
- Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the school’s improvement plan through self-evaluation and professional growth.
- Engage with the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of Geography content and pedagogy.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
