We are looking for a part-time Chemistry Teacher to join our Shropshire school, starting January 2025. As a Chemistry Teacher, you’ll teach Science to KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in Chemistry at KS5. This is an exciting role for someone who loves igniting curiosity and exploring the world of chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering curiosity about the subject.
• Help KS5 students understand more complex chemistry concepts and experimental techniques.
• Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the Science department to enhance the Chemistry curriculum.
• Incorporate new developments in Chemistry into your teaching.
• Create a stimulating and safe environment for scientific exploration.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
• A passion for inspiring students to understand the world through chemistry.
