Our supportive primary school in Lewisham is looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit team. This part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about making a positive difference in the classroom.
Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and support staff to provide assistance for children with SEND. You will be key in ensuring that each child has the tools and support they need to thrive in an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small-group support to students with SEND.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to support diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
- Track and report on student progress, ensuring that all learners are progressing towards their goals.
- Support students with personal care and social development as required.

- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEND context.
