About the Role
As a mixed Year 1/2 teacher, you will create dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your class. You’ll help bridge the transition from Early Years to KS1 for Year 1 pupils while building on the foundational skills of Year 2 pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and differentiated lesson plans for your mixed Year 1/2 class.
- Balance the unique academic and pastoral needs of both year groups.
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Track and report on the progress of both Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
- Liaise with parents and colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning.
