Are you a dedicated chemistry teacher with a passion for the subject? We are looking for an experienced chemistry teacher to join our school in Sandwell, starting January 2025. As a chemistry teacher, you’ll teach science at KS3 and KS4 and specialise in chemistry at KS5, guiding students through the fascinating world of chemical reactions and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons as a chemistry teacher, teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students and advanced chemistry to KS5.
• Inspire KS5 students with more complex chemistry topics, preparing them for exams and future studies as a chemistry teacher.
• Assess and monitor student progress as a chemistry teacher, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the chemistry curriculum, bringing fresh ideas to the role of a chemistry teacher.
• Stay informed about developments in the field of chemistry education, enriching lessons as a chemistry teacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience as a chemistry teacher at the secondary level.
• A passion for helping students explore the world of chemistry.
