Role Overview:

As an SEN English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a differentiated and inspiring English curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students. Your lessons will focus on building confidence, communication skills, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons to students with diverse SEND needs.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
• Use creative strategies to improve literacy, communication, and written expression.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to meet EHCP targets.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting strategies to enhance outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive classroom that supports student participation and self-esteem.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English, with SEN experience preferred.
• A flexible and engaging teaching approach that supports individual student needs.
