The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that are tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Foster a love for scientific inquiry, helping students develop key knowledge and skills in Science.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists, to create and implement personalized learning plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting your teaching methods to ensure the success of every student.
• Contribute to the development and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence, confidence, and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Science, ideally in a specialist or SEN setting.
• Understands how to differentiate teaching strategies effectively to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Is passionate about providing an inclusive, inspiring learning experience that supports students’ academic and personal growth.
