The Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of art, design, and creative expression.
- Develop and implement exciting lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the school's commitment to artistic excellence.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and artistic mediums to cater to diverse learning styles and inspire students.
- Guide and encourage students to explore different art forms, develop their technical skills, and express their unique creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to help each student reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Art department to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the school's vibrant arts culture through exhibitions and displays.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Art curriculum.
- Experience teaching a range of art and design disciplines.
