Role Overview
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students with diverse learning needs engage with their education and develop essential skills. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will ensure that every child receives the tailored support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in delivering personalized lessons to help students access the curriculum effectively.
- Support students' social and emotional development, promoting confidence and independence.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Work with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Track and report on student progress, offering feedback to teachers and other professionals.
- Assist in organizing classroom resources and preparing learning materials.
