Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the SENCO to deliver and coordinate exceptional SEN support across the school.
  • Identify and assess students with SEN, developing tailored interventions to meet their needs.
  • Create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with input from teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Lead targeted interventions, including small group and one-to-one sessions, to enhance students’ academic and social skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students, sharing insights with staff and families.
  • Support teachers in adapting their teaching approaches to ensure inclusivity and accessibility in the classroom.
  • Contribute to the planning and management of SEN resources and school-wide inclusion initiatives.
