The successful candidate will be a Design Technology specialist, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a school that is renowned for its high academic standards and commitment to fostering student development.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with the school’s goals and national standards.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth and achievement.
• Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide tailored support for students.
• Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related discipline (desirable).
