Role Overview:

As an SEN English Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons that cater to students with varying levels of ability and additional learning needs. Your goal will be to foster a love for literature and language while ensuring that all students can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for students with SEND.
• Differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students in your class.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions.
• Use creative and accessible teaching strategies to make lessons engaging.
• Track student progress, set achievable targets, and provide regular feedback.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English, ideally in an SEN context.
