Role Overview:

As an SEN Maths Teacher, you will provide tailored lessons designed to meet the individual needs of students with SEND, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to develop confidence in numeracy and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and differentiated Maths lessons that engage and challenge students with SEND.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Track and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement EHCPs.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
• Inspire a love of Maths through innovative approaches and real-world applications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching students with SEND, or a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
• A creative, adaptable, and patient teaching approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.
