We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Year 5 teacher to join our team at a fantastic school in Buckinghamshire starting January 2025.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and setting achievable goals for improvement.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and respectful relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student development and address any concerns.
• Participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, staff meetings, and school initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
