Our Shropshire school is looking for a part-time Food Tech Teacher starting January 2025 to help students in KS3 and KS4 develop their skills in cooking, food preparation, and nutrition. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of chefs and food innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Food Tech to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging creativity and practical cooking skills.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve.
• Work with the department to develop a dynamic and engaging Food Tech curriculum.
• Keep up with new food trends and incorporate them into lessons.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel confident to experiment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Food Tech at the secondary level.
• A passion for teaching students about food and nutrition.
