Role Overview:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver exciting and accessible lessons that ignite curiosity and build knowledge among students aged 11-16 with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach engaging lessons across humanities subjects, adapting content to individual abilities.
• Use creative methods to connect students to real-world topics and historical events.
• Collaborate with TAs and SENCO to ensure lessons align with EHCP targets.
• Monitor and assess student progress, tailoring approaches to maximize outcomes.
• Promote inclusion, respect, and diversity in all aspects of teaching.

What They’re Looking For:

• QTS with a humanities specialism (History, Geography, or similar).
• Experience working with SEND students is a bonus but not essential.
• A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
