Role Overview:
As an English Teacher, you will inspire and empower pupils to develop their literacy skills and foster a love for language. Working within a collaborative and inclusive environment, you will adapt lessons to meet diverse needs, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons tailored to students with autism, ADHD, and other SEND.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP goals.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and social development.
- Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and therapists to deliver holistic support.
- Foster confidence, creativity, and resilience in students through innovative teaching strategies.
- Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve success.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English or a related subject.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
