Engaging and Relevant Health and Social Care Curriculum
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver a curriculum that is both engaging and highly relevant to today’s world. You’ll help students develop a deep understanding of the health and social care sectors, including key issues, policies, and practices. By teaching students about human development, health promotion, and social care, you will inspire them to pursue careers in healthcare, social work, or related fields.
A-Level Health and Social Care Teaching Opportunities
In addition to teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, you will also have the chance to teach A-Level Health and Social Care. Your expertise will help students explore more advanced topics, preparing them for further education or careers in healthcare, social work, and community services. You’ll guide them to develop the critical thinking and practical skills needed for success in the field.

What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Health and Social Care, Health Sciences, or a related field
- QTS or PGCE certification (or equivalent)
- A passion for teaching Health and Social Care and inspiring students to pursue careers in healthcare or social services
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS3, KS4, and A-Level (preferred but not essential)
- A commitment to delivering engaging, inclusive, and motivating lessons
