Role Overview:

As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of additional needs. You’ll collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to provide personalized interventions and foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
• Lead one-to-one and small group sessions to boost academic and personal growth.
• Contribute to the creation, implementation, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Track and report on student progress, ensuring clear communication with teachers and parents.
• Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management strategies.
• Help create an engaging, safe, and supportive environment where every student feels valued.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, ideally in an SEN environment.
• Familiarity with SEN strategies, interventions, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning atmosphere.
