Our secondary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs. If you have a passion for helping students reach their potential and work in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualized support to students with SEND, assisting with lesson delivery and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that students are supported in their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery.
• Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and support.
• Encourage positive social skills and independent learning.
• Assist with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a SEN setting.
• A strong understanding of SEND and teaching strategies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
• A proactive and compassionate approach to student support.
