Responsibilities of a Year 4 Teacher:

• As a Year 4 teacher, you'll be responsible for the pastoral care of children beginning Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to Year 4 pupils, focusing on individual learning targets, nurturing their strengths, and improving weaknesses.
• Furthering mathematical abilities by introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry to your Year 4 class.
• Helping Year 4 children develop writing skills by crafting plots, characters, and settings for stories.
• Monitoring Year 4 children's progress and occasionally reporting to parents.
