Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be an English specialist, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), if you have a genuine passion for English and a commitment to student development, we would love to hear from you!

The Role:

• Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials to align with school goals and national standards.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback that supports growth and achievement.
• Use data from assessments to inform instruction, address gaps in learning, and support individual student needs.
• Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
